Men’s

mens.ministry@sfbible.org

The purpose of the SFBC men’s ministry is to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ by encouraging men towards being established in God’s word; pursuing holiness in integrity through the Holy Spirit, deepening our relationship with God; and strengthening our relationship in the home, the church, and the world.

Women’s

womens.ministry@sfbible.org

SFBC’s mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ to the glory of God. This we do in obedience to Christ’s command to make disciples of all the nations. The Women’s Ministry task is to provide opportunities for women of SFBC (in all seasons of life) to grow toward spiritual maturity through discipleship, Bible study and application, fellowship, and outreach.

  • Adorned

    adorned@sfbible.org

Adorned welcomes women in their 20s through those who are “seasoned in life.” We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month to study the Bible and/or read through Christian books together. Our desire is to be adorned with the “imperishable beauty” that is “precious in the sight of God.” (1 Peter 3:3-4)

  • Close Knit Circle

    knit@sfbible.org

A group of women who gather together on a regular basis to fellowship, encourage one another, pray, and also to knit! You don’t need to know how to knit to join, the regular attenders will be glad to teach you!

  • Heart to Heart (H2H)

    h2h@sfbible.org

Heart to Heart is a sub-ministry within the Women’s Ministry with a focus on one-on-one discipleship. H2H is designed to assist a spiritually younger believer to be connected to a spiritually older believer in a nurturing and accountable discipleship relationship in accordance with God’s Word to:

    • Grow in knowing, loving, and following Christ
    • Live out biblical womanhood
    • Serve Christ by passing on what is learned to another spiritually younger woman

The desire of the H2H Planning Team for all the sisters that participate in H2H is found in our theme verse, Colossians 1:10, “so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.” Please visit https://go.sfbible.org/H2H to learn more about H2H and how you can get involved if you would like to receive training and encouragement from a spiritually older sister in Christ.

    t2@sfbible.org

Titus 2 (T2) small groups meet weekly for a season of 3-4 months during the year for Bible study and fellowship. Comprised of multi-generational women, they gather to develop relationships and to apply God’s truth in practical daily living according to Titus 2:3-5, “that the Word of God may not be dishonored”.

Mercy

mercy@sfbible.org

Mercy ministry seeks to extend the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to the suffering. We meet monthly to learn what the Bible teaches us about mercy, pray, and raise awareness of issues concerning the fatherless, orphans, widows, victims of human trafficking, and the poor. Mercy provides various opportunities for the church body to partner with affiliated local organizations which serve the most vulnerable in our community. Our greatest desire is to minister to people while bringing the message of hope and salvation in the gospel.

Missions

missions@sfbible.org

Our Missions Support Team aims to make disciples for all nations — that those disciples may make more disciples of all nations. We also partner with various missionaries around the world.

Prayer

prayer@sfbible.org

A body of believers desiring to be devoted to prayer before our sovereign and gracious God. The evenings begin with a short devotional/reading, followed by a time of adoration, thanksgiving, and intercession for the needs of our church, city, and world. All are welcome to join! Please send an email for more information or to submit a prayer request.
