First day of school is August 17th for SFUSD schools! We have the opportunity again this year to help the teachers at Ulloa Elementary School to set up their classrooms and help them get ready for the school year. Please save the date Tuesday, August 16th to come and help. The work day will likely be from 8:30am to 3:00pm. You can help all day or half the day. The teacher have a lot to do and it will be a great encouragement to them when we help. Students who are in middle school and up are welcome to participate with parent/guardian permission. Event details and sign up will be available very soon. Our Evagelism Team is collecting supplies to support City Team, a Bay Area Christian organization serving the homeless. A collection box will be set up in the Worship Hall Foyer for these supplies: DONATIONS CAN ALSO BE DROPPED OFF DIRECTLY AT CITY TEAM @ 164 6th Street San Francisco. If you have questions about the collection, please contact info@sfbible.org. It’s the season of Back-to-School sales. If you plan to pack Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, this would be a great time to get some school supplies. If you do not plan to pack a shoebox this year, you can still participate by donating school supplies that can be added to the shoeboxes that the fellowship groups will be packing. Our Church is partnering with Vitalant again to host our 3rd blood drive on Saturday, October 22 from 10:00am -2:45pm.

Blood donations save lives and we encourage all of you to consider being blood donors to help our community. Anyone aged 16 years & older, and in good general physical heath can be a blood donor.
