Men’s

mens.ministry@sfbible.org

The purpose of the SFBC men’s ministry is to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ by encouraging men towards being established in God’s word; pursuing holiness in integrity through the Holy Spirit, deepening our relationship with God; and strengthening our relationship in the home, the church, and the world.

Women’s

womens.ministry@sfbible.org

The overall mission of the SFBC Women’s Ministry is to provide opportunities for women of SFBC (in all seasons of life) to grow toward spiritual maturity as disciples of Jesus Christ through discipleship, Bible Study and application, fellowship, and outreach to the glory of God. (Titus 2:3-5)

  • Adorned

    adorned@sfbible.org

Adorned is a women’s Bible study/fellowship group that meets online on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays evening (7:30pm to 10:00pm) of each month. Together, we study God’s Word and encourage each other in our different walks of life to become women of excellence in God’s sight. Philippians 1:9,10 “And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ.”

  • Close Knit Circle

    knit@sfbible.org

Close Knit Circle is a small group consisting of women who meet weekly to knit. The 2-hour meeting begins with a devotion from God’s Word where we learn how to love each order as Christ has loved us. While knitting together, God would use our conversations with one another to deepen our friendship. Please email knit@sfbible.org for more information, location and time of the meeting.

  • Heart to Heart (H2H)

    h2h@sfbible.org

Heart-to-Heart (H2H) is a one-on-one discipleship ministry that pairs a spiritually mature woman with a spiritually younger woman in the faith. They meet regularly for a minimum of three months, building a relationship as they walk through a specific area of Christian growth. The goal is to grow in love for God and love for others, which is the heart of what it means to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord. (Colossians 1:10) For more information, please visit https://go.sfbible.org/H2H.

  • Ladies’ Fellowship Events

    ladiesevent@sfbible.org

The Women’s Ministry Events Team currently organizes two events annually in the months of May and December where women of all ages at SFBC will gather together for worship and fellowship. The emphasis of the May event is for spiritual growth and the December event is for evangelism and outreach. Events details can be found in the church weekly bulletin and website in the months leading up to it.

  • Moms Encouraging Moms (MEM)

    mem@sfbible.org

MEM is a group of moms who are committed to encouraging one another as we raise our children in the Christian faith. We meet monthly for an evening book study in addition to daytime meetings for fellowship and training. These are great opportunities to learn from other moms, discuss how we can practically apply what we learn, and encourage one another as we disciple and instruct our children in the Lord.

  • Phileo Phish

    phileophish@sfbible.org

Phileo Phish is a bible study for women age 18 and older. We meet every Monday at church from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

  • Titus 2 Small Groups (T2)

    t2@sfbible.org

Titus 2 small groups meet weekly for a season of 3 to 4 months during the year for intentional discipleship and spiritual encouragement. Comprised of multi-generational women, we gather to build relationships and apply God’s truth in practical daily living as older women come alongside younger women according to Titus 2:3-5, “that the Word of God may not be dishonored”. The heart of this ministry is to help women grow in their love for God and love for others.

Mercy

mercy@sfbible.org

Mercy ministry seeks to extend the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to the suffering. We meet monthly to learn what the Bible teaches us about mercy, pray, and raise awareness of issues concerning the fatherless, orphans, widows, victims of human trafficking, and the poor. Mercy provides various opportunities for the church body to partner with affiliated local organizations which serve the most vulnerable in our community. Our greatest desire is to minister to people while bringing the message of hope and salvation in the gospel.

Missions

missions@sfbible.org

Our Missions Support Team aims to make disciples for all nations — that those disciples may make more disciples of all nations. We also partner with various missionaries around the world.

Prayer

prayer@sfbible.org

A body of believers desiring to be devoted to prayer before our sovereign and gracious God. The evenings begin with a short devotional/reading, followed by a time of adoration, thanksgiving, and intercession for the needs of our church, city, and world. All are welcome to join! Please send an email for more information or to submit a prayer request.
